"That's Jane Austen spinning in her grave like a cat in a tumble dryer!"

I don't know why but everytime I get more stressed with work, the more undisciplined I become. And now I think I've got a BBC period drama addiction, no thanks to YouTube. I've been bawling my eyes out over BBC's adaptation of Thomas Hardy's Tess of the D'Urbervilles, which I thought was marvelously done and kudos to the BBC team for finally moving away from the Austen-Dickens-Gaskell adaptations. And now I'm stuck watching the ridiculously bizzare BBC drama of Lost in Austen, in which modern day Amanda Price gets stuck in 19th century Longbourne and meddles things up instead. Here's a scene in which I couldn't stop laughing for 3 minutes:

There's something about the Georgian/Victorian eras that draw me in...perhaps only Michelle might appreciate this video, considering that she's the only other person I know in our Bubble Island who likes reading and watching period dramas as much as I do.

OK, now I really need to get back to work. I have officially 2 months to go before I pack my bags and leave for another adventure again. Yes, I'll be leaving on the 18th Dec for Kathmandu. The countdown begins...
