We had an interesting visitor during post-mortem of The Nanyang Chronicle today. Daniel Reimold, a Fulbright scholar and media researcher from the Ohio Uni's E.W. Scripps School of Journalism (one of the famous J-schs in US other than Missouri and Columbia U) is here in our lil' red dot to study about....us. Singaporean students, specifically journalism students in Singapore. And this is what he has to say about his area of interest:

I think it's pretty refreshing and heartening to know of media scholars wanting to look into the youth media scene of Singapore. And this coming from an American no less. Seems like the Americans' image of Singapore is finally changing to the positive at last...
And Mr. Reimold is going to teach in my news copyediting class. So it can only get more interesting...
