Spring has been stolen from us!

Just when you thought that the Missourian weather has finally shown signs of normality it decided to have another bout of depression again. After one whole week of nice, warm, sunny weather that actually made me kinda tanned (about 27 deg c average), the weatherman has yet again issued a frost advisory notice. And this time it's worse for us here in Laws since the central heating system has been turned off as Spring was supposed to start two weeks ago. So now we're all freezing our butts off in the dorm and I'm typing this on my bed while wearing jeans and my jacket and my legs tucked underneath my comforter. And the frostiness has Eveline ranting at innocent people who might be distantly connected to the idiot who turned off the central heater. For your information, it's 9 deg c right now, and it's gonna plunge to the negatives tonight according to the weather forecast.

Anyway, I think I look American. I have been stopped by people twice on campus today asking me to register in Columbia to vote in the elections in August. And both times I said, "Sorry, I'm not American" and they actually looked crestfallen upon hearing this. Do I really look that American to you? I'm not sure whether it's an insult or a compliment.

I really buay tahan the kisiao weather here.

Just to show that I am still a Singaporean with an extremely tropical skin.

Oh, by the way, Happy Birthday, Mummy! Don't talk on the phone too long and nag too much.
