Chinese New Year and some other happenings

Eveline and I went to a Chinese New Year potluck dinner yesterday organised by the Hong Kong and Malaysian Associations here. We had loads of good, home-cooked, Asian food, and Lloyd and Valerie were there as well. Lloyd was kind enough to give us a lift back to Laws Hall in his car so we didn't have to brave walking back in the frezzing weather last night. It's funny how our Singlish starts to come gushing out on meeting fellow Singaporeans.

Me, Eveline, Valerie and Lloyd

Food, glorious food!

We even had crab! Which turned Lloyd into a maniac eating machine.

The place was pretty crowded last night

And later today Eveline and I will be having lunch with Sam, another Singaporean who has been working here for around 10 years. And he goes to the same church as Rachel, our hall mate, so Rachel's joining us as well. It should be fun.

This next video is NC-16, and I think it's the naughtiest video I have ever made. Parents and adults, please don't shake your heads as me. Children, it's your bedtime now! Young people, go ahead and enjoy the video!

PS: The new stars in the last part of my video: Megan (one of the few Americans who actually know where Singapore is), whose words I should probably censor. Mandy, the brave one. Ivan (from Serbia), the one that sits there and do nothing but laugh. Predrag (from Montenegro), who had the thought but not the courage to do what Mandy did. And Ellie (with book) and Seon Ha, the two very-embarassed and shy South Koreans.
