The good ol' times

So I have been away for a long time. Travelled out of Kathmandu and almost across the whole of western Nepal. Many stories to tell, but too many thoughts and too tired at the moment. Then I came back to Kathmandu and took off to Pokhara with Yuko-san and her friend Hiroko-san, and with Zak too. We met up with the Himalmedia team and with Zi Liang, so we toured Pokhara together. I was down with stomach flu again but have since recovered. And where is Yen Lin all this time? Somewhere in the wild west of Nepal, and she's still there. So we came back to Kathmandu and went to climb caves in Chobar today. Tomorrow we are going on a hike and Yuko and her friend leaves for Singapore the following day.

Seeing Yuko again reminded me of Mizzou all over, and it's bittersweet. And I'm glad that she came to visit, even though she had to suffer a bout of food poisoning in the process.

Pictures to come later.

Back to watching Yuko-san cook. Just like how I used to in Mizzou. Cheers to old times.
