Romanian newspaper and postcard from my crazy Romanian roomie, all the way from her ulu hometown of Iasi no less. In case you still don't know, I collect newspapers/stamps/postcards from all over the world. Because Singapore's newspapers are boring and you actually learnt quite alot about a country's culture and beliefs just by looking at the country's newspaper. Even if you don't understand the language, well pictures do speak thousands of words.
Merci beaucoup AM! Now you all know what souvenirs to get me on all your holidaying trips! A newspaper/postcard/stamp is much cheaper than some tacky I heart NY T-shirt or those uninspiring key chains. Or even worse, those oh-so-common Coach/Longchamps/Prada/LV/Gucci bags from US, HK, Japan or Korea.
Just get me South China Morning Post, Bangkok Post or Asahi Shimbun and I'll be more than happy.
