More funky pictures

The sororities and fraternities here are kinda stereotyped as being full of jocks and dumb blondes. And this picture showed just the stereotype. Alex (a guy in my hall) said that he planned to get these shoes down and keep it for himself because they are really nice and I think one of them is Nike.

Dominic Morissette, a Quebecois Canadian photographer/filmmaker who went to Aghanistan and made a documentary there. He came to our International Journalism class last week to give a mini talk about what it was like working in the media of Afghanistan.

Professor David Rees during one of our Photojournalism class. The fun thing about this class is that we don't sit and hear him talk during lecture. We pin up our pictures and walk around like in a musuem and chat with one another about our pictures.

We saw two fire engines wailing loudly and stopping outside the Noodles Company last Tuesday night while on our way back from Shakespeare's Pizza, a very popular hangout place downtown which serves fantastic pizza.
